For centuries, Central Asia, located at the crossroads of the Great Silk Road, has been a crucial hub for cultural and economic exchange between East and West. This unique position has fostered the sustainable development of trade and agriculture in the region, with local farmers skillfully integrating the finest grape varieties and cultivation techniques from both cultures.
Uzbekistan, with its sharply continental climate, is particularly well-suited for growing grape varieties such as "Kishmish," "White Kishmish," and "Timur." These varieties are used to produce globally renowned raisins like Black Raisins, Sultana (Oftobiy), Sultana (Obi Jush), Red Raisins, and Golden Raisins.
Alfa Foodline, a proud member of the esteemed Alfa Group, is a leading manufacturer and supplier of premium raisins in Uzbekistan. Renowned for our reliability and commitment to quality, we consistently deliver exceptional products that meet the highest standards.
Our vineyards span over 150 hectares of the most fertile land in the Jambay district of Samarkand. We have dedicated 2 hectares specifically for grape drying, equipped with state-of-the-art technology to ensure that the raisins do not come into contact with the ground during the drying process.
We also own a processing facility for raisins that covers more than 4,000 square meters, along with over 3,000 square meters of storage space. These storage areas are equipped with air conditioning and ventilation systems that maintain a temperature fluctuation of no more than 2 degrees year-round.
Currently, Alfa Foodline employs over 40 staff members, and during the harvest season, we hire an additional 100 to 150 seasonal workers.
A key element in achieving the high quality of Alfa Foodline raisins is our use of equipment from leading manufacturers, including the Turkish company Bigtem and the Belgian company Tomra.
With our advanced facilities and commitment to excellence, Alfa Foodline continues to set the standard for premium raisin production in Uzbekistan and beyond.
